See FITS headers in the Finder!

(version 1.1, released 2009-03-08)

QLFits allows you to see FITS header right into your Finder, without opening the file! It automatically generates on-the-fly thumbnail and preview of the fits header, with colors. Even more amazingly, it detects ESO keywords, and build automatic links to the proposal abstract, the file summary, and even the weather conditions!

The UltimateAstroWidget
(version 1.1.0, released 2008-11-24)

A must-have, very handy widget for proposals!...

The UltimateAstroWidget gives you in real-time the Universal Time, the Julian Date, the Modified Julian Date, a Day Count, and the Local Sideral Time for the specified location. The UAW is filled with dozens of astronomical observatories. Even better: it allows you to draw and save airmass curves, as well as observability data! Just enter the name of your target, it will be resolved by Simbad, and that’s it! Each location is provided with coordinates, and is completed with a Wikipedia and a Wikimapia button! If you want your observatory to be included in the list, just email us!

New in this version: many glitches fixed in the Observatories. Added DAO. A better handling of longitude data.
